It’s fun blogging once in a while.

Finally received my bill this morning. And no, its still the Php5.8k bill I blogged about yesterday. While on my way to work, got a text message from 290 (Globe):

Wow. Are you guys kidding me?

I AM ON SUPERSURF AND I AM FREAKIN’ WORRIED WITH MY BILL!

I am trying to call the bill people on 730-1000. But hey guess what? NO ONE’S ANSWERING! Thank God Mom and @ssowy’s to the rescue! Bad Globe Telecom! BAD!

UPDATE!!! 3:00PM Got a call from Jenna of Globe. They’re reversing my GPRS charge because 1.) I have ZERO idea about that APN bitch 2.) its the first time it happened to my account (so it served as a warning) and 3.) they thought I requested them to cut my supersurf subscription which gave them a reason to charge me with regular KB browsing rates (which is so not cool IMHO).

She gave me tips though to prevent this from happening in the near future… In your BB browser, go to Options >  Browser Configuration > make sure you choose either Internet/Hotspot browser and NEVER MyGlobe. Basta it will prevent you from opening those non APN bitch sites.

OR, you may opt to upgrade your BB supersurf to BB Max para literally Globe All You Can.

After a few minutes… I STILL DON’T GET IT. Sana they reverse charges din to other “victims” of their wrong advertisement. But I’m thankful I don’t need to pay that much for my bill anymore. Thank you na rin Globe.

P.S. Jenna gave me another tip: If you badly need to talk to a Globe CSR, grab your mobile and dial 211 instead of calling them through their landline. Dear Globe, if walang sasagot sa 730-1000, tanggalin niyo na lang siya please. ktnxbye.

Last BB-talk of the week.

As of the moment, I’m tired of thinking about BB or any complicated gadgets. My final decision for my BB is either of the following:

Thanks to reader Raych for this suggestion: Get a G-Flex 800 plan + ask Globe to activate my BIS for P450 = P1250 a month OR…

Get a G-Text 500 plan + ask Globe to activate my BIS for P450 = P950 a month OR…

Just fuckin’ wait for cellular companies to offer cheaper BB plans in the future. I mean, I can wait. I don’t need to use my BB just to surf. :|

There are PROS and CONS: What do you guys think?

****For new BB owners like me, please take note that Globe STILL has the Php450 BIS activation and the BB Personal Plans. They offer almost everything that you see in their website, except of course the Connected 24-ever which was re-launched and renamed Globe SuperSurf (24/7 unlimited mobile internet, P2000 a month). Beware of csr’s that offer ONLY SuperSurf. Seems to me that not all of them are knowledgeable with their products and services. ****

BB-coma.

November 4, 2009 Bull Comments

It’s been 4 days since I got my BB and now I’m thinking of bringing it back to Globe and refund my Php14k este Php15k back. :| I tried to mobile surf last night using Globe’s TIME browsing (Php5/15 mins.) Ok naman siya, site titles load but for the web… blah. Goodluck if mag load. I decided to just switch to KB browsing as recommended for BB users.

I also tried downloading recommended apps online such as Google, Facebook, etc. and it won’t download probably because my BIS isn’t active or sabaw lang talaga ang IE. Twitterberry and Google Maps were the only ones I’ve successfully downloaded on my BB. Twitterberry works, and the Google Map? I don’t know, another error.

Someone help me with BIS, I’m semi-clueless about it, BB newbie remember? All I know is that you can’t enjoy BB if you don’t have a line… and that’s about it. Just get a line and the BB-coma will be over.

Are there any other options? I’m planning to do the following:

The cheapest I can afford with my allowance. This plan is stupid, 500 free texts? Are you kidding me? I can send 500 SMS to friends today using UNLITEXT20.

Of course I’ll probably get the the Php700 plan. I really don’t need to connect 24/7 since I’m always near my laptop if I wanted to go online. Besides, there are lotsa hotspots now around the metro, I can just surf using my wifi.

OR if I’m just so addicted to surfing the net through my BB, I should probably get this:

UPDATED 9:18PM – Ditch the personal blackberry plan. Globe doesn’t offer it anymore. Looks like minimum wage earners like me are stuck with the poster below… :|

NOT. No. No worries? I don’t think so. Di kaya ng budget.

I’m really ready to give up my BB, until I read domeng’s blog comment on mukamo:

Domeng, if you can read this, email me ASAP at iloverainb0ws[@]yahooDOTcom. Thank you!

One last reason why I don’t want to get a Globe line. Their signal sucks big time! Lalo na in our place here in Taguig. Mas ok pa signal ng Sun ngayon, promise. Speaking of Sun, can’t wait for Sun Cellular to offer their BIS. Sana lahat ng tao may BB para magmura na yung services.

Haters…

November 1, 2009 Bull Comments

According to Urban Dictionary, haters mean:

A person that simply cannot be happy for another person’s success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.

A person who feels anger and/or jealousy for someone who has succeeded in something they have worked hard for.

A being who speaks badly,and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a successful person.

Someone who most likely dosen’t have shit to work with and has to hate on people who move up in the world.

A label applied to people who are more negative than positive when discussing another person.

Why am I blogging about haters? ‘COZ I HATE THEM! From now on, I’m officially deleting my tag board. They’re just spamming it with negativity. Say whatever you say, in the end, its YOU who’s pissed and ME? I’m just cool. ;)

Good vibes all the way!

Trapped in the elevator?

August 4, 2009 Bull Comments

Still can’t believe my parents and I got stucked inside an elevator. We were trapped in one of the elevators of Market Market, particularly the one located in the covered parking. Everything happened in less than 5 minutes. :|

We’re almost at the 3rd floor when the lights suddenly went out. I didn’t panic. Actually chillax nga lang eh. We used our phones as lights coz it was literally black everywhere. There were no emergency lights whatsoever. Only thing we see is the “B” sign which means were back at the basement.

Mama was starting to panic, shouting and pressing the alarm button. She has Cleithrophobia a.k.a the fear of being locked in an enclosed place. We tried waiting for someone to rescue us but Mama couldn’t take it anymore. Buti na lang Papa was quick, he tried opening the doors. Thank God it opened!

And as usual, nagreklamo, etc. Parents got pissed after Market Market security head officer offered us complimentary cinema tickets. Mama has a point, we don’t need those tickets. We can afford buying our own tickets. Kulang pa ata yung worth ng tickets na yun if Mama had a heart attack.

I think I won’t be using elevators for now. Hahahaha. How about you? What would you do?
