Sir Bob invited me to join the Century Corned Tuna Bloggers Event by Rogue360 and Century Tuna. Being a fan of Century Tuna products, specifically the Flakes in Vegetable Oil, I agreed to join. It excites me ‘coz its my first ever event I’ve attended as a blogger. Here are some of the highlights of yesterdays event:

Sorry for the quality of photos, they were taken using my old but trusty SE K700i. The event was held at The Stock Market, Bonifacio High Street. Derek wasn’t there but winners of the Century Tuna Super Bods were present.

Czarina Maye reprezzzzeentttt! I’m slowly introducing myself to the world of “professional blogging”… if ever such thing exists.

Our appetizer while waiting for the event to start. It was yummy, too bad I wasn’t able to finish it.

It was hosted by JM Rodriguez and Chef Rosebud Benitez. Main event was a cooking contest ala iron chef. Twelve bloggers were divided into 2 groups. They were given one hour to finish 2 yummy meals using Century Corned Tuna as their main ingredient. People from Rogue invited me to join the contest but I declined. I don’t cook, I eat. Haha. I joined the guessing game instead. Of course I didn’t won, but Pel did! LUTO!

Anyway, here’s the food that bloggers created:

I would like to apologize for not getting the names of the bloggers who joined the cooking contest. Bawi po ako next time! I’ll google all your blogs and say hi! After the contest, its eating time! The Stock Market started placing lots of food on the buffet table. I’m so hungry I wasn’t able to take pics of the table.

Here’s my nahihiyang-plate. I was really hungry but was shy to fill it up with so much food. Hahaha. Siyempre naman I had to act proper while in an event. A few minutes after finishing my plate, got a tip from Rogue people that there’s an open bar at The Ice Cream Bar. Woohooo! Who doesn’t want free ice cream?

I can’t finish those huge servings of ice cream so I opted for a choco sundae.

To sum it all up, my friends and I had fun. I enjoyed my first ever event for bloggers. Thank you Century Tuna! Thank you Rogue! Next time ha!

I was surprised with the amount of visitors I got for the past 24 hours. Thank you fellow bloggers/readers! Congrats to Jay Palces for winning my 10k contest. Yes readers, a close friend of mine won. Ayaw ko man siya manalo… nasa kanya yung screen shot.

Anyway, a small update lang of what happened to me the past few days…

I got my first pay check last Monday. I’m working for my parents as of now. It’s a family trucking business, you can check our multiply site here. Medyo underconstruction pa pero ok na rin yan para makita ng iba yung biz namin.  I still do MMA related works such as web coding, photography and graphics. So yeah, I’m a freelancer. Hahaha.

Yesterday morning, I got a C&D letter from a lawyer asking me to delete one of my entries. Medyo nakakagulat, makatanggap ka ba naman ng ganung letter di ba? After consulting with lots of people/fellow bloggers, I removed the said entry. Again, ayaw ko na ng drama.

To end this post, I’d like to quote a fellow blogger:

Facing such a criminal lawsuit is no laughing matter. True, very few get convicted of libel…

Unfortunately, the problem starts even before the case goes to court. Libel is about power, influence and money, the latter carrying the most weight. The time and money you spent just to get representation and appear in the fiscal’s office on a subpoena costs a fortune. Elevating it to the sala of a judge, which could drag on for years, may spell bankruptcy to the less fortunate. It’s like getting a life sentence before the final verdict has been passed.

What’s more ironic is that “free speech or freedom of expression”, which is supposed to be literally free, isn’t cheap when confronted with a libel suit.

I learned a lesson, did you?

I’ve been blogging for the past 8 years. Marami na ako napag-daanan na blogging websites. Name it, I have it. For almost 2 years now, i♥rainb0ws.com (also spoiledchiq.com) earned lots of friends and fans around the world! So as a gift to my readers, I’d like to give a present to YOU!

The mechanics are easy! Thanks to Sir Bob, I actually stole the idea of giving gifts online.  Here it goes:
