Blackberry Batteries

Ever since Gemini (also known as the Blackberry Curve) arrived almost 3 years ago, told myself that I will never ever upgrade this unit. Why? ‘Coz I’m happy with it. :) And besides, its my first ever Blackberry. I am very loyal and sentimental like that. I don’t care if I only get EDGE/GPRS so as long as its in good condition and gets the job done. ;) But before the holidays, I noticed that my battery gained a little weight. According to my twitter friends, my battery is bloated, old and needs to be replaced asap.

I searched online for replacement batteries since I was really busy during the holidays and had no extra time to go around the malls just to get one. Stumbled upon Analema, they have positive feedbacks in Sulit. Their Multiply looks legit and not the scammer type plus they’re located in Taguig so its easy for me to pick up items there.

I placed my order through Multiply last January 5 and paid via Paypal. It took them 2 days to confirm my payment/release the battery (unlike other trusted sellers , they ship out items once paypal payment’s confirmed) which is a little hassle in my part ‘coz I badly needed the battery asap.

2 days after paying, sent them SMS asking if I could pick up my order. Had to wait for another hour ‘coz they’ll have to confirm the payment with Multiply. After nun, they gave me go signal to pick up the item. So here’s the battery I ordered, it looks and feels a little fake/class A to me. What do you think? You be the judge.

My battery from Globe vs. the darkver version from Analema.

Forgot to encircle the serial code part. As for the text, they’re the same.

The battery from Analema has red x marks.

Top from Globe. Bottom from Analema. The texture of Analema’s rougher than Globe.

Or course the chismosa in me had to ask why the item looks fake:

Jill didn’t answer my question. What do you mean by standard anyway?

According to their terms & condition, no warranty for for accessories. So I replied and asked if they allow replacements and Jill replied:

Hi! Our accessories po are original. Furthermore we check the perfect condition of the items before delivery. Batteries are tested and expected to work. But we have no warranty for it or any accessories as the performance is affected by the use. However, you can expect quality, even though we have no specific warranty for it.

Uhmm. Sige na nga. I should’ve gotten this battery na lang, at least its from Globe, mas cheap pa. :|

P.S. I decided to use the battery. Sayang naman eh. Dedma na lang siguro, nandiyan na eh. May this entry serve as a little warning for those who plan to buy from the store. :)

Chatime BGC

Another milk tea shop opens in my home town, Bonifacio Global City Taguig! Milk tea definitely is still IN for 2012. They’re like mushrooms sprouting all over the place. But I will not complain, I love Chatime. For me, they have the best pearl milk tea in town! ;) I love mine 30% less sugar and with less ice.

Its near St. Lukes, located at the back of the newly opened Mercury Drug.

I love the interiors, simple lang. ;)

Kitchen

Last December, one of my good online friends Kym went home for vacation. :) So as usual, the makapal in me asked if she can bring home  some goodies from the US. Met up with Kym and her BFF Patrice for some early dinner in Kitchen Greenbelt 3.

Here’s Patrice with Kym.

Kym suggested I order Sword In, pan-fried prawns with crab fat sauce.

Wait, they’re actually not prawns. Small prawns! Haha. I enjoyed this dish, nabusog ako. Aligue pa lang ulam na. Sana they add kahit mga 2 more pcs. of shrimp. ;) Can’t wait to go back and order this again.

After eating, I met their twitter friend Vito. I love it, ‘coz Vito is gay. Mabuhay lahat ng beckies sa mundo! We went to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for short chikahan.

First Sunday of December

Looks like DOST PAG-ASA is right. Its definitely a rainy December. Anyhoo, few more days to go before Christmas! :D Have you gotten gifts for your loved ones?  I know I did! ;)

Here’s Paolo wearing his newest watch from Kenneth Cole.

Uhhm.. I know my Mama reads my blog. Ma, in case you’re reading this blog post, please take note that the watch is on sale. Truth is, nahiya kasi ako after getting a Ray Ban from him. Feeling ko kailangan may kapalit! Haha. But don’t worry Ma, to follow gift niyo ni Papa. :P

Anyway, so we had lunch in SumoSam Powerplant Rockwell. First timer! Place reminded me of Omakase and John & Yoko. Ok naman prices but then servings were too small. Lalo na the noodles that I ordered below. Good for 2 daw. Hehe. Eh sa sobrang gutom ko, ako lang ang kumain niyan. Liit lang servings, promise! But for the taste, puwede na.

I’m craving (na naman) for salmon sashimi!!!! Grrrr.

Paolo wanted to go shopping after our lunch. May hangover pa sa Hong Kong. Bitter dahil walang nabili don. My used to be kuripot boyfriend is now a certified gastador. I’m not sure if positive ba yon or negative. Dati Penshoppe lang ok na siya, ngayon kailangan Lacoste or Zara na! Sosyal!

Speaking of Zara. Here I am waiting for him to shop.

Hindi makapili si mokong: Php3000+ vs Php4500+ jacket

He settled with the Php3000+ jacket. O di ba? Pogi ng bodyguard ko?

After his mini shopping spree, we had to wait for hours for our VX facial appointment in VMV. Thank God the GC’s I got months ago were transferable. ;)

You see, Paolo’s really vain when it comes to his face. Cleanse, tone and moisturize? That’s his language. He knew more about it than I did. He gets his diamond peel whatever facial from the derma near his place. I gave him one of my GC’s so he can compare the service from 2 completely different facial centers.  So far, I think he liked it naman. :) But not sure if he was willing to pay more for VMVs services. In the end, kuripot pa rin boyfriend ko. Haha.

But wait! Did you know that VMV has an ongoing sale until the 30th? YES. Sale! 30-70% off! I will take advantage of the VX facial sale. Someone please remind me to drop by VMV after Christmas! :)

P.S. For those who really want to feel relaxed while having a facial, I suggest you go to VMV on a weekday. My first facial in Rockwell branch wasn’t that relaxing ‘coz it feels masikip inside the facial area. Maingay pa ‘coz there were people going in and out of the store. Iba pa rin ang ambiance ng Bonifacio High Street branch. Doon medyo nakakatulog pa ako. :)
